Michael J. McKenna

Since admission in 1981, a principle thrust of Mr. McKenna’s practice has been local land use and zoning. He estimates that while solicitor he has served he has attended approximately 1,000 public meetings. He also estimates appearing as private counsel for objectors or developers on approximately 250 applications for development. He has participated in many State and Federal litigation matters involving land use issues and has always achieved good results. He reports that Gloucester Township has only suffered two adverse Court rulings during his 28 year tenure as Solicitor for that Planning Board.

Personal injury litigation is an important part of the practice. Mr. McKenna observes that speaking to jurors is similar to speaking to Board Members – in both cases you have to be both credible and understandable to be successful.

He has resided in Medford with wife of 32 years. Four children.
